i use photoshop cs3 extended but im not too good with it and right now every time i make a new file thing(Ctrl+N) i choose the size and all and when i press ok it comes up like normal but my cursor is ALWAYS the little grab hand! i cant choose anything else like the drag tool or the paint bucket! what do i do!?

I'm not exactly I understand what your problem is, is it possible for you to take a screen shot to illustrate your problem better?

i cant really screen shot cuz when i prnt screen my cursor doesnt come up... but u know on photoshop... the hand tool? that hand cursor wont go away... i choose any other tool but it doesnt change... it stays on the hand cursor when i go over the picture that im working on... ex: i choose the paint bucket and when i go over the picture or the empty layer i try to paint, the paint bucket goes away and it turns into the hand tool cursor...

I believe think the easiest solution to your problem would have to be just reinstalling photoshop.

i restarted my pc and it stopped doing it... hopefully it wont start again
