One of the best mods for half-life (1) is Earth's Special Forces. ESF is a online fightng game that manipulates the anime show: DragonBall Z.

Developers released the open beta to the public for download:

I Tried that game a while ago and personally I found it really lame. Everyone was doing the same move which had only 1 way to block it. Got really boring really fast. I guess the fact that I hate DBZ with a passion didn't help.

My opinion is go buy the console game. I thought it was much better.

im a anime freak lmao
yet this game wasnt all that special even when i played
the console version Y_Y

Yea, sorry, I know it's a mod. And yes I was referring to Budokai. Basically the same game aside from the bugs and exploits.

I seriously can't remember what the move was called but all people would do to me was like teleport behind me, punch me in the spine, and then repeat till I was dead. I'm sure theres ways of stopping it but everyone was doing it to everyone. Whoever started the chain first won.

Anyways yea, it was like a looong time ago that I played, maybe they fixed it.

Please add to this list of ways that its different. I think maybe saying esf is nothing like budokai is perhaps stretching it. I belive they have most of the same things in common. I've got an open mind and am always open to more discussion/related material.

Technically there are no viable hacks for esf... speedhacks dont work... aimbot can really fuck you up... and you can see people on scouter, as for first thrid person, yeah its third person, but you actaully get to control where you go, and its not a bunch of buttons you gotta press for combos. ESF takes skill, while budokai takes button and sequence mashing.
